Penny Marshall stared for eight seasons on the ABC ratings hit, Laverne & Shirley created by her late brother Garry Marshall. She went on to direct such films as 'Big,' 'A League of Their Own' and 'Awakenings.' She was one of the top grossing women in Hollywood. She has passed at age 75.
